The Model 160 sawmill is a low cost mill designed for those who want a smaller sawmill or have limited funds to invest. With its low power requirements, this mill is ideal for smaller, shorter logs. The track is set up on the ground, making it easy to roll the log onto the mill without power equipment. The log holders can be positioned close enough together to secure logs as short as 18". And, with the electric motor, this unit can be used indoors too, ideal for the wood worker to use in a heated shop in the winter.  Also, if you have the tools to weld and drill metal, you can build the track yourself from our plans.
