1. SIMPLICITY OF DESIGN
   We manufacture a basic, no-frills manual sawmill that is simple to operate and easy to maintain. We've eliminated the expensive extras that can fail or malfunction and result in costly repairs

2. ECONOMICAL TO OPERATE
   With sawmill blade costs around 1 cent per board foot, (that's $10 for 1000 board feet!) it's a real penny pincher to operate. Add a few dollars a day for gas or electricity, and your boards literally cost you just pennies each. All our mobile sawmills use the readily available 1 1/4" wide band blades for excellent performance.

3. BUY ONLY WHAT YOU NEED
   If you have a suitable engine or electric motor and would like to use it on your portable sawmill, we can help! Are you handy with a welder and want to build the sawmill track yourself? We supply the plans and you save the money by doing some of the work yourself. Or, perhaps you want to do the whole sawmill yourself using some of the parts we can provide. Whatever you decide, we can help you reach your goal of having a portable bandsaw sawmill. And, it will be one you can be proud of and enjoy using.

Linn Lumber has been building portable sawmills since 1986. Early on we recognized that not everyone could afford to buy a complete sawmill. We decided to offer you, the customer, the choice to build part of the mill yourself. The results have been gratifying, to say the least.
